At All Animal Veterinary Center we provide, Medical, Surgical, and Preventative services for Birds, Cats, Cows, Dogs, Horses, Pigs, Rabbits, Snakes and many other pets. We promise to take the time to listen to you about your pets health or illness and fully explain treatment options available.

Our Staff
Dr. Jan E. Cerro
In 1986 Dr. Cerro completed her veterinary medical degree at Oregon State University which offered a unique program involving training at 3 universities. Small animals, birds, exotics, and wildlife medicine were studied at Washington State University . The University of Idaho 's food animal hospital provided experience in food animal vetreinary services. Oregon State facility provided training in equine medicine and surgery with additional training received at an all-equine referal hospital in southern California . As co-author, she has published articles related to her basic research in veterinary medicine. Dr. Cerro is included in "Who's who in Veterinary Science and Medicine."
For many years Dr. Cerro has been an adjunct associate professor at Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine. Veterinary students live at AAVC seeking experience with horses at a mixed animal practice. She also serves on the alumni advisory board of Central Michigan Universities College of Science and Technology and received their Distinguished Alumni Award.
Within the community she lectures at schools, 4-H clubs, and other organizations. Dr. Cerro is past President of the Frankfort Rotary Club. She was recognized by the Rotary as a Paul Harris Fellow and remains a active member. She is a member of the Benzie County Sheriff's Civilian Mounted Search and Rescue Unit.
In her leisure time she enjoys playing ice hockey, gardening, riding her horse ER, entertaining her dog Dex, and brushing her 5 cats.
Cathy Canada
Cathy moved to Michigan in 1998 from Florida , where she trainined and raced Standardbred Racehorses for 10 years. She continued her love of large and small animals by attending Baker College in Cadillac and Michigan State University where she received her degree in Applied Sciences and Veterinary Technology in 2003. She went on to extended studies in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Radiology and Dentistry in 200 4.
She believes in kind treatment and handling instead of forceful wrangling when dealing with animals.
She has a Greyhound that is a former racer rescue and promotes adoption and rescue. Along with Tiger the racer is Titus a Whippet and 2 cats.
Jennifer Cragg
Veterinary Assistant
Jennifer is a native of our area. She graduated from Kingsley High School and attended Northwestern Michigan College where she studied medical assisting.
She grew up on a farm and has been working with animals her whole life. She enjoys helping her father bale hay, drive tractor, and feed the beef cattle on the family farm.
In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her dog, Buck.
Aryssa Narmore
Kennel Attendant
She is a longtime Benzie county resident and is studying at Northwestern Michigan College . She works with H.A.N.D.D.S. (Helping Abused Neglected Disabled Displace Souls) and at anytime she has a houseful of Dogs and Cats looking for a permanent home.
